Rocket Knight was one of my personal favorites from the 16-bit era. I'm extremely happy that the series is getting the remaster treatment.

This was always my favorite of the Rocket Knight games! I didn’t even notice that it had none of the shootem up flying stages, but definitely agree I would’ve like to have at least one of them in here.

Yeah, i would have liked at least one. I feel they really wanted to push the SparkRobo in the game instead. That whole level we’re you’re in the SparkRobo running through the city could have easily been a flying stage. Either way, the game still rocks! 🤘🏼

I’ve never played this one! I remember seeing ads for this game in my comic books back in the day

I've never, EVER gotten an extra life from the slots, sometimes a blue gem, but mostly the bombs. Gedol also has one attack that is a major pain in the ass, he'll swap bodies with you, and you have to somehow do the same attack he did to swap back into your own body and send him back to his. I can also see why Sparkster returned the magical sword, he knows it isn't his, plus he likely didn't want to get corrupted by the power it possesses. He'd rather just go home at the end of the day, enemy defeated, kingdom saved, no publicity needed (he did marry a commoner according to the 2010 game, sticking to his humble roots). He's an honorable knight.

Great video. Never got around to playing Sparkster, but I love Rocket Knight Adventures. Fighting the Pig army and the music was so good. Can’t wait to see your video on the snes version of Sparkster. The bosses on the genesis version is kinda lame.

Yeah, the bosses here are pretty uneventful. I actually haven’t played too much of the SNES Sparkster but from I’ve seen it looks like it takes more inspiration from the original Rocket Knight Adventures. Definitely a good sign. lol

Binging my watch later back log lol. I never really cared for the 1st game so I never played this one. The graphics look great. Final boss looked cool too.
