Sparkylinux is Your Choice? You'll Want to Upgrade to the Latest Release to Enjoy These Enhancements

In This Video We Are Looking At The 2024.05 version of Debian GNU /Linux-based Polish distribution SparkyLinux has been announced. 6.6. In the new version, which is the second update of the system in 2024, which is configured on 13 Linux kernels and provides updated packages from Debian "trixie" and Sparky "sisters" test repositories, as of May 5, 2024, all packages have been upgraded from Debian and Sparky test repositories. It is stated that it is possible to obtain 6.8.9, 6.6.30-LTS, 6.1.90-LTS, 5.15.158-LTS kernels in the Sparky repositories for the system configured on the 6.7.12 Linux kernel, while Firefox 115.10.0-ESR (125.0.3 in the Sparky repositories) ), Thunderbird 115.10.1, LibreOffice 24.2.0 are available. In the system that comes with Grub 2.12, xfs and btrfs file systems have been added back to the installer. The latest version of the Sparky CLI Installer is said to make auto-tuning of the target system a little faster by introducing a few changes such as the auto-partitioning option.
