I spoke to a neighbor of mine that seen me driving around in my parking lot and small world he mentions you and seeing your recent PB speed run. He told me you guys run the cars off Lyons Rd in Boca.

The tie rod modification is a great move! That's how the old school speed run people used to modify their speed run cars. Great choice!

Thanks man! Very cool how you point that out. When I started to do speed stuff in 2015 I noticed tie rods in front of many Gt cars. Applied it to an arrma, set the ride height and it certainly works. Certainly appreciate that man

@@InnovationRC Suspension is not really needed on a super smooth road on a speed run. The worlds fastest RC car (203 mph) had no suspension.

@@mesodan very true! There is a slight bump about 200 feet to my left though so I really desired to keep the rear as shocks. But as you said if the road was perfect then I'd run rods all around

Congrats on your new pb, heavy breathing lol. I know all about that adrenaline flowing, i love it though, and yes your suspension has to be on point above 140 as i found out. I thought about the tie rod mod too, but i found a way to make the suspension a little tighter now. I back flipped at 155 and landed the tie rod mod may be my next mod.

I wish Kevin would reach out I would love to him him tips. I mean 120 mph is average if not slow for a 15lb speedrun car running 6-8s. 120 is cake if you can execute the setup correctly. All it takes is a decent esc and suspension tuning

I can I my encourage the right way to do things. If not it's fine! Or just buy a stock v2 Infraction, take the rear wing off and hit 104 Mph.

Great run!!! Congrats!!! Love the body too! Quick question, on a stock V2 Infraction with the 25t pinion am I losing top speed with 2 60C packs? I picked up some 80C packs for the Typhon cause they are hard case but haven't run yet because the Boston area sucks for speed runs...Thanks in advance!

C doesn't exactly dictate speed. You need a high grade battery to begin with. A 70c cnhl battery is significantly better than a maxamps 150C. I'd suggest if your running 7s a single 6s 5000mah 70C battery from CNHL!

I think it's perfectly designed for speed. It's a sports car obviously in real life. They design the real vehicle to travel through the air effectively at super high speeds (190 mph or so). Thanks man I certainly appreciate those words

It's the stock rear brace with a limitless wing mount. Bolts right up to the diffuser braces
