Currently, working on my Montana. 2 segments away from finishing her. Can't wait to finish while pushing for my Kansas, just got all of my global for her and working on the 18mill now! I'll have her in a few days! To be honest, Iowa, Missouri, Arizona and Alabama are my top 4 besides Massachusetts, she will always have a special spot in my heart. I've slept on her with my father and brother back in the day for Cub scouts. Waking up and going onto the deck at 5 am is so calming. Crazy to think all that calmness can instantly change on a ship like that in war. Magnificent machines yet truly humbling in the presence of one.

I love Montana, its sheer firepower and tank armor can overwhelm a side if played properly, deadly to battleships and cruisers, weakness is smaller ships like destroyers that can either flank or maneuver if they are smart, while Montana struggles, which will get you dev struck, so playing at a good safe range, while also trying to push the team is your best survival, but that just depends on the map and your strategy

How to use Montana 1. Find a good thick chalk, a nice high quality, preferably blue (that’s important) chalk. 2. Set the stage, maybe light a candle or dim the lights or both really up to you but atmosphere really helps your experience. 3. Start with little bites don’t dive right in like an animal really take your time and enjoy the flavor of your chalk

Idk why people hate Montana so much. My only complaints are the bad maneuverability and massive superstructure (I’m used to the superstructure part because I main German BBs) but that laser-accuracy and exceptional armour is amazing for Montana.

I have had some fun putting ships against crazy odds in training. A North Carolina vs a Yamato was luck. I went around an island and was lucky that it didn’t hit me. But there’s a frame where one ap shell hit and it took 9000. One shell. Also grab a higher level battleship and place it against 8 Wyoming class battleships

Hitting multiple ships with one reload round is amazing! I once managed to hit 4 ships around me with each turret on my ship, getting a citadel on two of the four ships too! That's ultra rare and the stars must align for that but yeah lol! 😂

Besides, Yami is a trolly glass cannon unless angled perfectly. Players with good rng she can be a beast, players with bad rng she's a roulette table. I usually don't have the rng to get big hits with Yami anymore so I play more Montana.

Same set up as you Spartan had 4 broadsides in 1 match and less than 10000 damage.Dds spawning at A and going to C. Then Xmas boxes from the calendar 18 not 1 ship only decent thing was 1 commendations.Great video but sick of bad teams and WG now after 6 weeks away I come back nothings changed.Best of luck Spartan 🙌

Montanna was the first Bureau ship I got followed by the Yamato a week or so later and honestly Ive had better experiences in the Montanna. The dispersion is great, good amount of gun's and also doesn't suffer from being a big name ship like the Yamato. Ive noticed that I get targeted like crazy when I whip out the Yamato but with the Montanna it feels like a normal match.

Except no other battleship has the Belt armor of Montana and if used properly its ability to land shells on target is second to none

@@SpartanElite43 Montana belt: 409mm a fairly easy to hit citidel Yamato belt: 410mm but exposed citidel Gk belt: 380 but you get impressive turtleback armor to help. Your not hitting the citidel unless weird RNG says so. Conkek belt 406mm really hard to hit citidel plus superheals to counter it. Bourgogne: 350mm turtleback which offers impressive damage mitigation through spaced armor. And your point about Montana landing shells on target? Conkek can do it Bourgogne can do it yamato can do it but not as well as it used to and gk needs to get lucky but it too can do it. Funny enough every one of them have faster reloads than Montana and have unique features that allow them to excel at their roles. Now I'm not saying Montana is a bad ship. I'm just saying it's not as special as your putting it out as and that if you have other legendary tier bbs they can perform better.

Hey spartan. I have a proposal for you. And hear me out her, play the Marco Polo again please. But remove the SAP upgrade slot. I've noticed two things. One your reload becomes 27.3s and I've noticed that the Dispersion is significantly improved. And surprisingly the 406 HE shels when they hit... Absolutely shred destroyers and cruisers

Well Spartan simply put unless you have the skills and strategies to match the Montana like the other battleships at her tier are useless it's that simple I have logged many salvos in my Montana and sometimes if I forget something on the board as a chess piece she gets immediately busted wide open LOL but under the right conditions she is the instrument of Doom

Montana is a one trick pony and that's what I don't like about it the whole goal of this ship is to get on a flank get into a crossfire and rain hell on anyone who is dumb enough to show you broadside while it can brawl it's not preferred cause of how slow it is in a turn and not to mention that superstructure eats the nastiest pens from close range so much so that it's almost better to shoot at that rather than the flat broadside lmao with that being said while it may have the best belt in the game that doesn't matter when one yammasushi can go for the bow and everyone else can chunk the shit out of the superstructure that takes a literal nuke to saturate it

The belt is good but its only 3mm thicker than Conq and the GK belt is at a steeper angle whitch makes it more effective than the Montana belt. The good things about Montana are accuracy and looks. Its in my opinion the least capable BB at legendary tier whitch doesn't mean its bad. I still prefer the playstyle over the Yamato (Yamato is the least fun ship to play for me). Nice games though hope you get more like theese.

I dont think GK has sloped belt armor... I think it's pretty flat

The GK has a steeper angle on the belt up to about half of the "A" turret past that its flat like the Montana but the angle past that "A" turret won't matter because if its not angled both Montana and GK get chunked by all LT battleships. So in conclusion the GK has a better angled armor in the place it counts if you know about it. But GK has significantly worse stern angle it takes pens from everywhere so montana has better armor for angleing in a kiteing position
