Going to reemphasize that angling is absolutely critical in these ships. Their armor actually isn't very thick, but if angled, it's usually thick enough. Peak armor values are deceptive; those values are usually the conning tower and not turrets or belt. This changes a bit with Sinop on, but the fundamentals stay the same.

Gangut is one of my favorite low teir battleships. I frequently use her in ranked. Imo she's a midrange brawler and an armor-anglers dream with a low profile and minimalist superstructure. I don't favor her for close range brawling as her turrets are slow and she's increadably vulnerable to a drive-by, but, if pressed, she can with a heavy broadside and good maneuverability. Her stubby guns are quite poor at long range but so are most tier 3 bbs.

Just a heads up when you reach the Izmail: it will say that it was never built, but it was! Sort of... It was a member of the Borodino-class battlecruiser, it was launched, but never completed.

I love the Pyotr because it has that awesome 75mm bow and you just bounce everything unless you go flat broadside. Then you are a floating free 50,000 damage.

I love the gangut. If I have a bad day in boats a spin up a match with this ship. You play the 12gun boat likes it only has 9. Only pull out the rear in perfect circumstances. Your 9 guns will deal more then enough pain to not have to sacrifice your health for the last 3 guns. Happy sailing!

Just recently started playing this game and been grinding PvE to unlock ships n' upgrades, but today I did my first PvP match...it was a great loss for my side but...I got a Kraken, Devastating Strike and a Confederate! And I'm blaming your channel for my joyus maiden voyage at PvP 😁👍 wish I pulled that off in a BB but i ran the Clemster DD...Keep up the good work! Every time I unlock a new ship I come here to get the report on it before I set sail...Boats N' Hose!!! 😂

Epic match in the Gangut today. new Asian line just released; low tiers have been a DD fest all day. Match had 7 DDs, 1 CV, 1 BB per team. (Smoke and chaos everywhere) Guess who won? Gangut. Last ship on the map. Had two DDs trying to torp me out of sight range for a good 5 mins. Base capture map and was basically abandoned by the rest of the team. This ship is a beast and I made it dance a ballet.

Don't forget the tier 6 Russian BB Poltava plus I like this line because armor angles and turret angles....like Spartan said gangut really powerful ship and one way ticket to port if not focused on

I have idea for videos in the future since you have mostly all the commanders if not all you should try do weird builds. Like using Belfast "out of nowhere" base trait and smokescreen skill on a battleship in a division to see if you can stealth fire reliable

This is easy to citadel at long range but the closer it gets the harder it is to damage this ship surprised me more than any other when i started playing it just seemed to get stronger and stronger the more i closed the distance and wzs totally shocked when i couldn't citadel it at 5kms tuff bloody ship

I dunno, it seems like I play a different game. When I play Tier 2/3/4, there is a minimum of 4 destroyers on each side, three of which will yolo (and be quite effective). This leads to everyone not in a destroyer sitting in the back until one teams destroyers are dead. Its just not much fun, and makes it almost impossible to "win your side".

Yeah exactly what I’ve been saying for a while now, limit dds to one a game or nerf them so they are seen up to 7 km also if they come up to 2 km from bb they are instant killed if hit with more than 4 shells. I hate them ones that come flying up to you and then fire every torp, even if you full health you’re dead.

I haven't minded the Russian Line of Battleships. They are what they are in taking hits. But the Tier V Battleship is not bad, and the Tier 6 a good player as well. The broadside firing quality of the Russian Ships is pretty decent. Good grouping potential. I'm still rather upset with WoW Ownership people limiting " insignia " distribution for upgrading Commanders. It ain't like it costs WoW programmers money to permit Game Players upgrading Commanders. I can't remember when I've seen insignia handed out.
