I've never liked Britt, but this time she showed genuine concern (not jealousy) about Patrick and that he shouldn't marry Sabrina. I also think if it weren't meant to do the wedding interruption s/l, Nikolas should have been able to tell Patrick the truth and Patrick would have understood the stakes regarding her parents. The fact we had to wait another 5 weeks is crazy.

I know, I mean after Emily died, one of them should have killed him since he didn't have any leverage over them, but I guess sometime after that he was presumed dead and when he "came back to life" the water poisoning happened and he resurfaced, I guess they needed him, but did he escape or presumed dead again? Then we see him on Cassidine Island

Simply put Britt is a female and Nathan is a male. He saw little for her and basically wanted somebody to groom, preferably a male heir to help him run his criminal empire.
