So it would be, the chair cost a lot of moolah :) The word costed is used when estimating, as in a statement like: Those options have yet to be costed into the proposal.

7:31 What does it mean to 'win back' a piece? Only through a pawn reaching the other side of the board, or do I misunderstand?
@josheike35434 жыл бұрын
Spassky had sacrificed his bishop earlier. In this variation, Spassky would have captured Fischer's bishop in return, 'winning back' the piece. So he doesn't get his own bishop back, but he does win Fischer's bishop.

The computer telling the truth Capablanca better than Kasparov! Bobby Fischer beat the weakest champion Spassky 17 wins 11 losses! You can not lose 11 times against blunder maker Spassky! Capablanca would beat weak Spassky 8 wins 6 draws zero losses! Carlsen would beat Spassky 6 wins 6 draws zero losses! Caruana scored 8,5/10 in St Louis scoring the tournament elo rating world record 3080! Karpov 11/13 in Linares 1994 elo score 3040! Alekhine in San Remo 1930 elo score 3040! To be honest.. These kind of matches are much better and with deeper meaning than the ones played now.. Bobby Fisher was right. Chess nowdays is boring because of the theoretical tactics. Now there is still theory till move 20.. Thats not chess. That is just study about chess.. Thats why you always see draws nowdays instead of the past..

In 10:53 of this video: I think that “Fischer” could go to: Black 1- N to D4 to prevent the white Queen from defending the E4 square and prepare to Q to E4 Checkmate White 1- Then, “Spassky” would be compelled to sacrifice his Queen to avoid the checkmate by “Fischer” : Q captured on D4 Black 1- R captured on D4 And if N3 or N5 captured on D4, then Q to E4 Checkmate. If not, then “Fischer” won the White Queen. I hope you have the time to reply.
