Spatula Madness always manages to convey like, an uncanny valley sense of that. Like, sure, it's silly and it's about talking spatulas. But also.... sometimes it just gets a little Too real. Like, in an uncanny valley way that somehow feels a lot more uncomfortable than if you watched this happen in an animation with normal humans in a world less absurd than that of Spatula Madness. you feel me?

@@darkskyinwinter If anything I agree with you there tbh. But what I mean when I said it was an uncanny valley thing is that it’s not very far removed from how it works in America. Like, uh… 0.1% difference. And somehow the fact that it’s so close makes it extra unsettling.

This feels like a key to unlock the story behind the last 3 spatula madness videos, while posing so many new questions! What wonderful story-telling! Also, I love the pun. "Look, I don't think anyone out there looks at themselves in the mirror and thinks, 'I want to kill kids. I want to poison a bunch of children.'" Aaaaaand introducing Jere: the company that does. Chills, man. Chills everywhere.
