In case you didn't know, turmeric can be bleached out from lots of materials by letting it sit in the sun for a few days!

I’m always so chuffed when the thing I like gets a good CF score 😊 GIR spoonula, I love you. Now, if we could get a tutorial on how to make them come out of the dishwasher not slimy? 🙏🏻

excellent work, thank you. I’d prefer longer cutaways and b roll clips but I went to film school in the 70s.

I know you cant buy alllll the spatulas, but I've been buying the Thermoworks spatulas and spoonulas, and would be curious to see where they rank. Spatulas are softer than I would like, the Spoonulas are definitely more useful overall. I do have a drawer full of the little ones and use them every day. Great video, think I'll be ordering some of your favourites.

💯 agree with the Di Oro observation. Why on earth is the handle all floppy for like the last 2 inches?! 9:40

I like the thermoworks models

What do you like about them?
@mikeminarich1159Ай бұрын
@@cultflav They come in two sizes, one better for jars, and the other larger for stovetop cooking. They also come in the spoon and flat shaped heads. They are all heat safe silicone with no seams. They have the right amount of stiffness through the instrument that I don't have any trouble with it being too stiff and unable to navigate into the edges of jars, and not too flexible that the edge folds on itself. I haven't had any melt or tear. They always seem to be on sale, and they are very affordable.

@@cultflav ThermoWorks spatulas are the best! The strike the right balance between firm and flexible, plus they come in fun bright colors. The mini set is particularly delightful and I find myself using the minis multiple times a day whenever I'm in the kitchen. Perfect for everything like spreading, scooping, stirring, scraping and more, especially for a small saucepan or skillet. The spatula comes in a variety of sizes - the medium 12" is probably the more "traditional" size and also has a corollary spoon-shaped variant. The small and medium are both kitchen go-tos for us and we keep multiple in our countertop crock. The large size is a bit unwieldy for my preferences, but it has its time and place. I highly recommend you give them a try, especially the mini set!

Guys… I need help. My bf got me a le Creuset pan for my birthday specifically for my egg white omelets I have ever morning (boring I know) and I cannot get the eggs to not stick to the pan. Plz help. Having trouble finding anything on how to use it. I’m normally a nonstick girl
@cultflavАй бұрын
What type of Le Creuset? Enameled cast iron?
@kirstenwright5868Ай бұрын
@@cultflav yes! It has a white inside too if that makes a difference
@cultflavАй бұрын
@kirstenwright5868 honestly, it's not a great type of pan for frying eggs. You could work in a bunch of fat to pull it off, but if you're doing egg whites only, that doesn't seem like what you're looking for. All the pros use nonstick for omelets for a reason! But that Le Creuset will be great for lots of other things like baking and braising!
