Todd McFarlane's Spawn was an animated television series which aired on HBO from 1997 through 1999. It was based on the Spawn comic series from Image Comics, and was nominated for and won an Emmy in 1999 for Outstanding Animation Program (longer than one hour).[2] An unrelated series titled Spawn: The Animation is in production since 2009, with Keith David reprising his role as the titular character. Like the comic book, the series features graphic violence, sexual scenes, and extensive use of profanity.[3] Todd McFarlane's Spawn was ranked 5th on IGN's list of The Greatest Comic Book Cartoons Of All Time

I watched these a couple of years before MK11 came out. I was surprised how did I miss this guy. I took a liking to him. Always found anti-heroes entertaining. And then, when people started talking about him being put in the game, I was one of them. He arrived and now I'm back here again. A shame the series were so short. Hopefully in the future, there'll be more of Spawn. But I'm worried. In this day and age. About American entertainment being infected with retardation, feminism and SJW filth. I'll wait and see.

Remakes usually fail and now when I see what Americans are doing, especially what Marvel, DC, DIsney have been doing lately, they will find a way to screw it up. Or maybe they wouldn't on purpose since Spawn is a "man of color" and not white. Since being white is not allowed in that castrated, woke place anymore...

Mr. G yeah it got really bad here. Everyone’s either racist or “woke”, sexist or sensitive, oppressed or depressed. How any good movies come out anymore is beyond me. Everyone’s so wimpy now that idk if I’m excited for the upcoming Spawn movie directed by Todd McFarlen. Like I’m hoping for the best but no studio is going to let someone have full creative integrity, if it doesn’t coincide with their strict belief system the media will ruin it and get it either cancelled or postponed/edited. Idk man life is just crazy now. I blame Fortnite and Cardi B for today’s predicaments lol.

I know it seems almost impossible but if you want to prepare yourself for a disaster which there's a good chance of it, keep your hopes on a low level. Remember what kind of people are working in the entertainment industry and you'll know what to expect. I mean, that's all I hear and see from there at this moment. The fatal flaw of Spawn's premise is that Malebolgia would chiose an absolutely ammoral maniac to be a Spawn, not merely a flawed warrior. Only way to stop cases like Cog's and Al from happening.
