Salmon ate not very plentiful here and they are unusually nervous...a lonely stream like this which holds salmon is almost certainly an ideal poachers playground.

Well there are always bailiffs on the beat...checking licence and permits..especially in Donegal..the salmon has protection rights. Poaching and fishing illegally is a felony and publishable by fines and imprisonment.
