Ps5 production was limited as is, and they’re just now catching up. I’m not surprised there’s been no variations. I wouldn’t be surprised if they start releasing custom face plate packs for new exclusives though

The 500 is really nice..next year it’s 30 years since the ps1. Curious if the will do something with that. And use the potential of the faceplates. Not just colors but also limited edition for games. Awesome collection, PS4 is definitely going to be one of my favorite systems to collect for in the coming years. My favorite limited edition though is the Persona 5 Royal PS4 Pro that came out back in 2020. Such a sleek white console and its easily the best looking one to me.

I have the Black Ops 3 PS4 with 1TB that still works great to this day. Surprised I didn't see anyone mention this one in the comments. I might be wrong, but I bought it right when it came out since it was one of the 1st PS4s with the 1TB before the Pros and other limited editions.

There are a few missing. There's a blue days of play edition (that looks better than the grey one imho) and atleast the two Star Wars editions were also missing (Darth Vader PS4 and Battlefield 2 PS4 Pro). And there are a few other editions that I probably forgot or have never seen. And if you want a really obscure edition google for Sekiro Edition PS4 Pro. I personally think it's the most beautiful limited edition out there (followed by the Last of Us edition), but it's also the rarest, with probably less than 10 in existence.

Awesome video. I'm sort of a Playstation collector too. I've bid on a few 500 million Playstation auctions but never ended up winning. That's my favorite out of the lot but I do love that Death Stranding Controller. I have the platinum trophy for that on PS5 and it's one of my favorite trophies because it took me so long to get!

I would recommend thinking twice about wall mounting the 20th anniversary model. The grey plastic on a couple of my games consoles that I purchased back in the 1990's & early 2000's have decoloured over the years. Really nice collection though mate, one definitely approves👍👍

As long as he keeps it out of direct sunlight and doesn't smoke by it, it shouldn't yellow much. Though, all plastics like this will yellow a little over time due to the flame retardant mixed into the plastic.

I do have the 2018 PS4 Slim Limited Edition. I finally saved some money on my first job to buy a PS4 back in 2018. I remember the Days of Play was coming so I decided to wait for the week to come and buy the PS4 together with GT Sport. It was nice having a blue console since my past PS are the regular all black. And still to this day is still the console I'm using since I'm waiting for a 'Slim' PS5 or a special edition that grabs my attention.

I don't have much room or money to start a whole big collection, but I do have some things in my room. The controller is in it's box, displayed on the shelf. The best part about the PS5 console itself (outside of the exclusives) is the fact that you can just switch out the plates with whatever plates you want. It makes having limited edition stuff console wise much less expensive and you dont need 500 consoles to show off a collection like seen in this video. Really cool IMO

@@paige.w17 Slim plates are not compatible with the OG PS5, so if you want to customize the plates with newer limited shells, then you need to fork money at Sony to get a slim model (that's if they discontinue making new shells for the OG PS5).

The controller for the blue Days of Play edition is blue with the gold PlayStation letters covering the touch pad and on the console, it's blue with the big gold printed PlayStation letters plus many small ones surrounding them. That's the one I got mainly cause I found one complete in box at a retro store and the gray edition Days of Play I only saw on Amazon at the time and they were $700+ Canadian, way out of my price range. The blue one I got was $500.

I sold my og PS4 and picked up the Spiderman Pro model when it released. I was so excited. Lost my job a few weeks later and had to sell my brand new console to get by for a little while and to be able to get my girlfriend a Christmas gift. She ended up getting me a Day of Play PS4 slim as a random gift a few months later which was amazing. Still miss my Spiderman PS4 though lol I loved that thing

Oh man i bought my fiancé 500 million, she absolutely loved it. Even bought the matching headset. It served us well but we ultimately sold it to get a PS5 launch day with a bunch of games. Have to say though, the limited edition Death Stranding PS4 pro and to this day is my favourite version of the Pro.
