Thank you for the great vid. 🙏 A couple of Qs - Presumably when you buy a prompt you can adapt/alter it to create your own images for whatever purpose. Also, can the prompt you buy be used on other AI creation sites? Same goes for selling a prompt. Or does it have to be one of those in the dropdown menu?

Great questions - The prompt you upload to sell needs to be generated in the program that you select from the dropdown. The administrators will personally check to verify the prompt you uploaded specifically works for the program you've selected, and there are also additional profile verification measures to confirm the prompt you've uploaded was generated by you and in the program you've specified. Regarding prompts you purchase - You are able to use the prompt across various programs, but you will discover that the separate programs process the prompts differently, and you won't necessarily get the outcome that is guaranteed with the program it was intended to be used in. You are certainly welcome to adapt the prompt and modify it as you see fit after purchasing. Hopefully that's helpful. Let me know if you need anything else clarified 🤘

The reason I ask is sometimes to get the desired result you need to start off with a certain prompt then input secondary and tertiary prompts depending on the answer received.

Hey! It's been a while since I registered but I think in order to start selling you need to enter your account number right away. I was nervous about that at first, but after some research about Stripe (the payout program used on PromptBase) I felt comfortable diving in. Thanks for the compliment! I usually include "artificial accent lighting" or "cinematic lighting" in the prompt to provide more dramatic results. Thank you for your instructions. One question: If a buy a prompt in the marketplace and generate the picture, whom does the copyright of the picture belong to? Am I allowed to sell the generated picture or even the prompt to another guy?

You own all the images you generate but nobody owns the prompt

Yes you can sell the art you created with the prompt, but no technically you should not resell purchased prompts unless you modify it in some way/shape/form. With most subscription programs you have rights to freely use the images produced by the AI generators, although most programs also have disclaimers that all images and prompts created with their generator can be used freely by their company. Technically, the only way to truly own a prompt is to copyright the string of words for specific use in synthetic AI image generation, which I don't believe is a legal category yet. Below is an excerpt from Midjourney's disclaimer regarding their content ownership and rights of usage policy: Midjourney holds, "perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute text, and image prompts you input into the Services, or Assets produced by the service at your direction."

It all depends how much effort you put into it. You can register on their site to be a custom prompt engineer which is where you can can earn more money. But it's best to diversify yourself across multiple prompt selling websites or start a business as a custom prompt engineer to make a career out of it.

Hey - you need a subscription to access your profile URL. once you sign-up here's how you find it: To find your profile URL, visit www.midjourney.com/app/ then right click on the 3 dot icon near the upper right hand corner, and click "View as visitor" in a new window. Then copy and paste that window's URL - that is your user profile URL

@@DOGus1011 All prompts must be approved by the administration team, so if it's denied it either means the prompt does not produce reliable results or they simply do not wish to host that particular prompt on their site. They will test it every time you attempt to sell.

Try uploading a diverse range of prompts to try and capture a wider audience. My sales are pretty random, and I was early to the site. That's the only reason I gained so many sales and got featured. Like anything it's either lucky timing, or dedication.

I haven't seen that option yet - Based on my discussions with the owner it hasn't sounded like that was on the table for implementation. But, I will mention alternate forms of payout to them as it seems people would like that option.

Probably about 30 prompts, but they're over a year old now, and people are looking for newer prompts. On average you'll make enough for a small cup of coffee, But it depends how good your prompts are and how involved you are keeping your profile page up to date.

Hey - I'm not sure what that means. After you purchase you should receive the prompt and then you can use it with the program it is specified for. Some of the programs offer free credits, but most will require a subscription after your trial period is complete. Hope that helps.

Promptbase declined my prompt application many times, I'm thinking change prompt selling platform. I uploaded 9 prompts and declined 7, just approved 2 prompts only, declined reason such as too specific, too similar, Invalid parameter(but my prompt & parameter is correct), don't understand what's going on!
