I love all the unique Artifacts that the important characters get, super cool flavour to the game. I'm very interested to see what they end up doing with the One Ring and how it will affect Sauron. I think maybe that War for reducing development turned the territory to wilderness because it knocked development down to 0 or -1.

There are 3 surviving dwarf rings of powers by the third ages and the other 4 are either lost or destroyed by dragons or in the belly of one. Saroun capture one and torture it to get the ring. Saroun sent an envoy to Dain II Ironfoot in the lonely mountain, the three surviving Dwarf rings of power in returning for aid in finding the one ring. Dain refused, for the dwarfs have long memories and stories of saroun trickery.

In the base CK3 game i always suse seach for physician and caravan leader and click right on the options to see if i can invite them without the Desicion, good and easy way to get new courtiers.

god i can’t wait until lionheart sees noldor cavalry. 1800+ attack and defense if maxed out properly satellite holds are super worth it, they’re very rarely attacked and provide you extra income+can become vassals eventually and have no downside

Master elf physician, "Where can I use her? I'll check everywhere except the minor titles." But do find that such events are even more impactful in the lotr setting since galadriel gifting a 4000yo elven anything to a dwarf king has all kinds of implications.

To return a enemy holding to wildernis you need to select thhe thing when u declare the war then u recolonise so u dont have the 30 year debuff and etc.

@@lionheartx10 i believe its the war to reduce the development, to reduce a enemy settlement to the wildernis sorry if it wasnt clear . i did it in my playthrough and then colonised it. Killed the balrog with the son of balin but died so the 10 year infant had to take over. but stopped it cuz modor has run rampant and has destroyed erebor not yet me but only a matter of time.

Both are relevant since pdx updated personalities to actually have more meaningful choices in events such as the ones I've engaged with :) before you could only use their traits as a gauge but now iirc it weighs their personality higher than traits.

Thankfully it's just a cosmetic which you can disable if it really bothers you. I don't take issue with it personally it's a nice little nod to a joke in the books and films :)

We added the game rule so you can choose if you want them to have beards or not. That being said, this is from The War of the Jewels by JRR Tolkien Ed by Christopher Tolkien, 'The Later Quenta Silmarillion' Chapter 13, §5 - page 205 "The Naugrim were ever, as they still remain, short and squat in stature; they were deep-breasted, strong in the arm, and stout in the leg, and their beards were long. Indeed this strangeness they have that no Man nor Elf has ever seen a beardless Dwarf- unless he were shaven in mockery, and would then be more like to die of shame than of many other hurts that to us would seem more deadly. For the Naugrim have beards from the beginning of their lives, male and female alike; nor indeed can their womenkind be discerned by those of other race, be it in feature or in gait or in voice, nor in any wise save this: that they go not to war, and seldom save at direst need issue from their deep bowers and halls."
