Another great podcast episode, Deshauna. I agree with you that silence is powerful. However, sometimes you can't walk away in silence if discrimination and harassment were taking place in a professional environment for example. Better to exit plan and speak up about the situation in a well-informed, evidence-backed way, as this can help prevent other people from going through the same thing and you could also potentially win six-figure settlement checks. But, I agree that with more informal situations like narcissistic friendships or relationships, better to walk away silently. Even in professional situations staying silent can help cover you if toxic people try to lie on you at the job.
