My dad was born in Tonga & moved to the states when he was very young. My mom was born in Hawai'i & is Hawaiian & Tongan, but doesn't speak either of those languages fluently. She grew up only knowing how to speak English. So when she met my dad, my dad rarely ever spoke Tongan. Of course when my parents had my siblings & we were only taught to speak English. I've always wanted to learn how to speak Tongan, but it's difficult for my dad to explain the language to me. I feel that these videos you post would help me learn the language. I have a lot of family that can only speak Tongan & I want to be able to communicate with them. This last video was funny & entertaining with all the cool effects !! anyway, please keep these kinds of videos going !! Malo !! :)

I sometimes see "na'e" instead of "na'a" to indicate past tense... What's the difference?
@kulisi3 жыл бұрын
Yes na'e is referring to something in the past. Na'a references a person having had done something in the past

Toko, when I first went to Tonga the first words I learnt were the swear words. Are you brave enough to teach those words 😝. It made learning everything else easier. Love your work and humour!
