Great lesson with lots of vocabulary to describe weather. The first video I watched on this channel and I was very impressed with the way this vocabulary was presented. I live in Toronto, Canada, and the most severe weather conditions I have experienced are rain and snow in winter, which lasts for six months. Currently, it is rainy and cloudy. It has the highest of 30 degrees. Sometimes, I have learned many things from you.

Hi... Indeed, you're an excellent , professional teacher that leading us with patiently. Here is my practice scenarios: 1, It's truly that Singapore's climate in March, April & May etc, are pretty humid, scorching, sweltering & even harsh than ever, so mostly at weekends' afternoon, I'm decided to hit the hay instead of going out. 2, In November, December & January etc. The climate in Singapore hard to be predictable, sometimes, it's bright & clear, but mostly the sky is overcasting, seems look like threatening, later will be having a downpour, so normally I'll prepare my weapons like raincoat or umbrella in case I'm still at the workplace, but if not working, normally I'll stay at home & watch the drama from you-tube.

There was a torrential rain for over two weeks here and some areas were flooded, so many cars were stuck on the way to work during the rush hour. I like your videos as always, thank you so much!!

Thanks, Annemarie. There are lots of new words of weather for me. Several days ago, we just suffered scorching hot days and then a torrential rain which ruined large region of cops and persons were killed in the flood. I think it was due to the worse climate.

thank you so much for sharing this handful information to us. After torrential rains a lot of areas in my region have been flooded. Not only did this rain ruin farmers crops but also it damaged houses. Plenty of people and animals suffered from it. This situation is the completely utter disaster.

It's really fun follow your english lessons. Weather is my favorite topic and i want to describe where i live. Extremely heat during the summer season it might be 45 to 52 degrees. Drought and you can't go out for a walk beacuse it is really harsh. But we can enjoy the winter season just to see the rain again. Temperature is about 5 to 0 degrees. In Mexicali city does not snow but there is a mountain range in the west side where the peak is covered by snow, beautiful landscape.

Hi, this is my first time I have watched your video but i feel it is really helpful for me to learn more advanced vocabularies about the topic Weather. I am Vietnamese and currently live in the South of Vietnam. In my region, the weather varies alternatively. For example in the morning, it is boiling hot and the temperature is about 38 degree. Eventually I stay at home, I still feel like I am sweating a lot, but in the afternoon or evening, it might pour with rain. I wish in my country it had snow in the winter. I want to see snowflakes falling down from the sky and make snowman.

Excellent lesson with lots of vocabulary for describing the weather. First video I watched on this channel and I am super impressed by the way this vocabulary is presented. I live in Munich, Germany and the most extreme weather conditions I have experienced is downpour over several hours. We do not have extreme weather conditions in the winter like some parts of the United States experience from time to time, especialy on the east coast in winter.

Thank you so much for watching. I'm glad to hear you found the lesson helpful. For a few years I lived in Karlsruhe and, like Munich, I don't recall particularly extreme weather in winter but I do remember some rather long days of heavy rain.

Here where I live the seasons are not the typical four seasons people think about... We basically have only a wet season, with heavy rain for a couple of months straight and then a very long period of drought . During the drought season the humidity is also really low

Hi Ann Marie, I'm one of those people... who see typing errors! You have a typo right at the beginning where it says Bitting cold instead of biting cold. (the double "t", you know). Great lesson, otherwise, as always!
