Thanks you , this is simplest Switching losses equation i have seen. There is many complicate equation to calculate the switching loss is quite confused. i have a project to make 30KW input 3phase 415V and output adjustable from 0-24V up to 1000A maximum load.. i need to calculate the 2MBI200VH-120-50 IGBT switching loss to make sure the Junction temperature is not over 150C and also calculate the require heatsink . The main problem is IGBT switching losses increase when switching frequency increase.. I was thinking to operate at 16Khz but now i thinking to reduce to 8Khz or even 5Khz.

sir, in the flyback converter (or any other converter) the maximum value through inductor is iLavg+(Mean to peak ripple current), so while calculating switching losses, we will need to consider ripple current also right? and as while deriving formula for switching losses u considered inductor current from 0 to iLmax, and in chopper we need to derive by considering iLmin to iLmax, am i right sir?

To consider more accurate calculations it is Yes. That is why we learn how to calculate the avg and rms for different waveforms as I mentioned in the importance of RMS lecture. Here I do approximate simple calculation
