Good job 👌, can you discuss the closed loop for synchronous buck converter or it won't differ alot? And thanks in advance

Dr Walid, Thanks for the video, why you replace the single OP-Amp by so Many Op-Amps? would you please explain how both circuits are equivalent, specially the subtractor
@WalidIssaPlusE2 жыл бұрын
They are not equivalent. I showed different controllers and each has pros and cons
@simonbramble2 жыл бұрын
He is splitting out the component parts of the control loop and handling each of them individually. For example, 3 amplifiers for 'P', 'I' and 'D'

@@simonbramble Thanks, could you explain where is /how the subtractor is implemented in the first design with one OpAmp?

LTSpice has a voltage controlled switch which can be used instead of a part of the schematic in top-right comer (with a bv and a time in the formula we can "plug" an additional load at any moment). And another thing... Those U1 - this IS a PID controller =)))
@mrlazdaАй бұрын
No, it is not PID controler. It is a type 2 cintroler, which has two poles and one zero, and PID controler has one pole and two zeros. Type 3 controler is basicly PID followed with low pass filter and has two poles and two zeros. By the way, later in the video, he called it PI controler, what is not, PI controler have single pole and single zero, and his "PI" controler have two poles and one zero (still is type 2 compensator) and to become "PI" it would need to lose one resistor (R4).
