"Speaker Responds to Kenilorea Appointment"

The Speaker of Parliament, Patterson Oti, has responded to concerns regarding the appointment of Peter Kenilorea Jnr as the Leader of the Independent Group of members despite being the parliamentary wing leader of the United Party. Last week, Transparency Solomon Islands questioned the legitimacy of Kenilorea's position as the Leader of the Independent Group in parliament. This was Oti’s response.
