Hello there, the short answer is ‘yes’, but with a few disclaimers…

 1. The AVR would need to have (passive) front L/R pre-outputs. 2. Setting the front level is trickier as there are now effectively two volume controls.
 3. The ELAC RCA input must not be switched to phono. 4. It’s not something that we’d necessarily recommend as it will spoil the tonal balance - different amplification compared to the centre and rear speakers will mean that the sound changes in tonal character as it moves around the speakers.
