Nelson Segers I would've bought it from the beginning but the battery life isn't the best. The Doss actually goes really low aswell, which no other speaker at this size does and in this price range.

Very good review!.. is fantastic to see that the 3 years old Vifa Helsinki have no rivals in in sound quality! I have a Green and is the best speaker I ever had! Beside the Helsinki everything is garbage! Anyway this Doking is a good speaker! Thanks Toni! 😃

Well that German Speaker has a big hole in the mid range! As you say due to its fun tuning. I pretty much agree with your comparison of the JBL, but, I think the JBL still has slightly better focus in the midregion. The Helsinki? pure audio bliss! I just can’t afford one right now. Also, I hear there are quality control issues with the FIFA product line! Great review, looking forward to more speaker Tony!

f asdf I highly don't recommend water to get anywhere near the speaker as the main drivers are not made of water resistant material. But the grill is somewhat water resistant, I wash my grill once in a while and it's quite hard for water to seep through the fabric material. Also the grill can be sealed pretty tight to the speaker so there will be a lesser chance of water getting near the drivers

Why do some speakers have only one "D" on the front and the other "Dockin" ? Are there differences between them?

Yes the one that says Dockin is £5 more because of the extra letters.

Nice review! :) Another (German) alternative to the JBL Extreme could be the Teufel Boomster (2.0 - is the most recent iteration). It would be interesting to see you compare it to the D-Fine and the Extreme. I have one Boomster myself (together with a Boombag for outdoor mobility) and am very happy with it.

Mach ein Software Update bei der JBL Xtreme, hab die auch, hat anfangs übersteuert, nach dem Softwareupdate klingt es perfekt, vielleicht nicht so definiert wie die D Fine, aber definitiv besser als davor.

Ich habe die Möglichkeit sehr günstig einen Audio Pro t-3 zu erhalten. Überlege echt, ob ich den bose zu Gunsten eines mehr HiFi-mäßigem Sounds abgebe. Big Ticket hi, ich teste gerade den T5 welcher mich sehr beeindruckt hat. Der T3 wird kaum für ein Wohnzimmer ausreichen, deswegen würde ich da eher dem Vifa Helsinki oder den T5 nehmen wenn du HiFi klang möchtest.

Morrisonlife.com a very small portion of the market will buy 2-3 speakers to have surround sound. Most of us don’t need to link multiple speakers. Btw JBL features a Connect option that lets it connect to other JBL speakers
