I've been looking and searching for speaking in tongue. I was so observant before that I couldn't focus and receive the speaking in tongue. I was once prophesied that I God has given me the gift of tongues. However when I pray in tongues I find myself repeating the same utterances. As a result I end up discouraged thinking that the utterances are probably not from the Holy Spirit. Please pray for me to receive confirmation from the Holy Spirit that it is indeed Him who is giving me utterances. South Africa

It is normal for this to happen, I'm experiencing the same thing, it takes practice. One of my closest friends had the same thing happen when she first spoke in tongues too and her spirit language is fluent now and very beautiful. Don't be discouraged as the Holy Spirit to guide you and he surely will. Blessings

Very few times at home , its Like as soon as I start to speak in tongues devil tells me its not real, Doesn't seem to Affect me as much at church? Hi Antoinette 😊 Yes, we speak a lot in tongues in our prayer life in general but especially in intercession or spiritual warfare. Praying in tongues is like praying the perfect prayer since it is directed directly by the Spirit of God when our own words are limited.
