Another helpful lesson in a smashing series. After plodding through some pretty dry grammar lessons, I get such a sense of achievement when I come here and actually manage to cough up a few sentences in actual Irish! For anyone who finds it helpful to see things spelled out, I think the new vocab here is 'cad chuige? (why), and 'tá póite orm' (I've got a hangover).

I’ve heard it said “ca tee-ya” so that’s how I pronounce it. I think it’s just a matter of personal preference. They use it that way on Now You’re Talking.
