The way you cut your vege, it's a matter of time before you slice a piece off the top your left finger. Listen to Edward. Curl you left fingers inward while pressing down the vege, and let the side of the knive slide along your knuckles. Edward will demonstrate.

@@piiatamarehaha, no worries, we all start somewhere. When I first started learning Spanish, it was very bad too. But, over time, it got better. Having conversations with other people in the language you’re learning helps a lot too! 😊

Well done, Piia both on the Cantonese & cooking! (I still have yet to master being able to push the food forward with the thumb when cutting veggies as a mom of 5. But do keep the claw method in mind for safety. Another good tip is to maybe slice the garlic so it can sit flat while slicing it further as you would do with potatoes when making fries.) You two are very cute! Patience, understanding, and a good sense of humour goes a long way.

Great funny couples and funny video 😂😂😂 however, it's probably not Cantonese ONLY this time. Your Cantonese has improved quite a bit. For the fried rice part, Edward was absolutely correct about the overnight rice in the fridge but I think there's too many kinds of veggies with water. They give the fried rice overall too much moist and the stove fire is definitely too weak for it.😅 I don't know if I want Uncle Roger to see this video, oh no 🤣 btw 加油！！！

Ok I’m a bit of critic, but I wish you used white asian rice!! Yes whole grain is better, but it’s harder to see if it’s done well!! Other than that, you speak the Asian language well; and got what he was saying!! Also you need at least 16 hrs to day old rice for fried rice!! 16 hrs is only good if you know the method to dry it out faster like day old rice!! Never use very fresh cooked rice!!!

chinese do use left over rice to cook egg fried rice I think the japannese would prefer to use freshly cooked rice that is spread over and dried up a little over leftovers though
