funny that "восени" sounds like "in spring" but means "in autumn". or maybe that is just my polish mind playing tricks on me, as in polish "весна" is "wiosna" ("віосна") and "навесні" is "wiosenny" ("віосенни"). "восени" ---- "wiosenny" ("віосенни")

yes you do i am afraid. ukrainian is very phonetic. if it is written it is probably read. if it is difficult for you to pronounce it now then i am sure that if you listen to it enough times (i checked google translate and the pronunciation is good there) and try to say it at some point your mind and mouth will adjust and you will be able to say it without any problems. good luck!
