Based at Edinburgh University, SpeakUnique uses voice banking technology that allows people to communicate in their own voice via a speech aid when natural speech is no longer possible.

David you are lovely and so is your voice. I really enjoyed hearing what you had to say and your cheeky smile. I’m under investigation by neurology and wait to find out what tests are next to exclude things. I have symptoms of MND or symptoms mimicking MND. I would definitely get my voice banked if it comes to that. Thank you and God Bless, I’m Scottish too!
