Why doesn't Rito make an animated series named " The stories of Runeterra " where they say the stories of all champions with animated backround actually doing what the storyteller says ? rotdogg Even worse is that now his Pre-Celestial personality is confirmed to be "painfully ignorant and naive" in context of Leona's lore. I mean honestly, he went from the unbound pinnacle of human form to being some _Celestial_ puppet. That's a huge step down in my opinion. :'(

I was hoping there would be more of a connection between him and Leona .too, but from what I've looked up they are set as rivals don't know if this is true but I think riot could of kept some of the old lore together while updating it now pantheon is not pantheon and is basically a doll/ husk for a entity . He is possessed .

rotdogg *Sighs* Looking at it closely, they're trying to implement "plot devices" by retconning Champions lore. I get they want to change the _setting_ but doing so by dissecting a Champion down to the bone and filling it back in is painful to watch. That said, my head canon will always have Pantheon being a certified badass who wanted to be a baker and was childhood friends with Leona. Because hey, I like myself a badass with at least _some_ heart.
