All utilities on ELE force you to be mele, so it doesn't change anything. Plus we don't know how much of it is power and how much is condi. Personally, I'm not impressed because the FGS skills from 12 years ago look better

Its fun but the old weapons are so outdated mechanic wise, I think they should focus on making the old ones more fun and engaging. Like scepter on guard, long bow on Warr, shortbow on ranger etc :/ I do however still enjoy wow combat, it's different than gw2 action combat but still better than final fantasy and all that because you can still move and jump and have movement abilities instead of being animation locked. That reminds me I think you should be able to jump and do skills in gw2 too 😅

As a revenant main I’m pretty disappointed that we got another melee weapon. We have hammer and shortbow for ranged weapons - that’s all. It looks cool as all hell, but just feels meh that it’s another weapon to dilute the melee weapon pool.

@@elocfreidon yess indeed => auto attacks are ranged or melee depending where if openent is close or too far from you. Skill 2 is aoe, 3 is mobility, 4 is large aoe + some cc in it. And the 5th skill where it is all going around is a ground target ranged skill. Now how long the range is, we will see later today ^^.

Arenanet, can you guys add in either Guild Wars 2 or Guild Wars 3 controllable fully functioning ships (Rowboat, Cutter, Sloot, Brigantine, Galleon, Man of War, Fishing Boat Ferry, Trade Ship, Etc) that we players have to build that have cannons, Ballistas, Keg Bombs, Harpoon guns, or Harpoons that allow you to hook on to the other ship or boulder or whatever for sharp turning or boarding or reeling in other friendly or enemy players in World vs World, PVE, or both? It's the only thing that you guys don't have for Guild Wars that Archeage did. Had the devs (XL Games) or publishers (Tencent) or both not screwed things up with requiring land to do anything to progress in the game, which was limited because there were way more players than there was land, Archeage would have made a massive dent in your player base, which they probably did do but temporarily because they did not have all their cards together. I guarantee that not only me, but many other players will come back to Guild Wars if you do this. Youl'll also gain many more players. You already have a better combat system than World of Warcraft, Archeage, Final Fantasy, and many other MMO's. If you guys add ships to the game, most other mmo's won't be in your league. The only one is if somehow the devs and publishers of Archeage get it together and fix that one mistake. Their product was different because they still required people to fight over loot unlike what you folks do, which is beautiful; however, the serious fear of some rogue player killer popping out of the water and onto your sloot ganking you, robbing you, taking your sloot, and not even leaving you a piece of CHEESE when you're sailing full speed in the middle of the ocean running a trade run that took you a good bit of time to prepare for is a big part of what made the game really exciting (Yes, this happened to me) or having to run away from the Kraken ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3mZZWaXn6yLfMUsi=Io11XSDONGUbu4dh ) . Again, because of XL Games's and Tencent's minor but also major screw up, NO OTHER MMO compares with what you folks have. I still till this day haven't played another mmo with magic, battering rams, and stuff because I missed Archeage but was pissed at it at the same time. If you guys do this, again, I guarantee you gain me and many others back.

I mean no offense, but GW2's attack animations virtually all look unfinished/unpolished; they all look extremely unnatural, both old and new.
