Yeah, I noticed that too. So many league players are legit media illiterate. They don't want any narratives or story telling and only care about "giga chads" smashing each other for no reason, just for the sake of "le epic" and seeing "gyat" of of female characters once in a while. It's the same brain rot as the arcane shippers, just the opposite side of the spectrum. Btw not taking shots at Trunde and Darius fight. It was great. Just talking in general. And that's just talking about the biggest most obvious on the nose things ever. When it comes to slightly more subtle and artistic things they are completely lost and see things like Naafiri daggers or think that Katarina is a winner in that Black Rose party and so on.

So guys, ARCANE was PAST, KAT vs ELISE is PRESENT (given the skin on KAT) and DARIUS is YOUNGER before he was sent to FRELJORD and gets bigger later. LB and Vlad are Black Rose Leaders, they pulled all the strings in PILTOVER. MEL just discovering and she will be the main character throughout for sure and will have character development. Technically, later in the story we might see Ezreal and other Champions. Later, RIOT will continue the story to IONIA (cant wait for ZED, YAS, and LEE) and DEMACIA as well. ALL THIS CAN BE BASED ON LORE......THIS IS PEAK RIOT, I HOPE THEY DONT FK THIS UP!

True ice is literally magical, unmelting ice that can be lethal to wield if you aren't an Iceborn. Obviously it's pretty powerful so no wonder it knocks out Trundle.

If any non league players like the lore and arcane but don't want to get into league, you can always try the Riot card game Legends of Runeterra. It has beautiful lore art and is why I was able to recognize the immortal bastion and also know about blood magic which has me excited seeing Vladimir and his minions.

I have a theory as to how Trundle didn't just 1 shot Darius when he had his head, Trolls are notoriously stupid in the lore so if Trundle tried to squeeze his head in-ward it would be harder and require more effort and has opposed to just pulling it off. This is just pure speculation lol and it's like just plot armor at the end of the day.

If you put attention to the background, it wasn't a war It was a 1 vs 1 battle for respect, since the army commanded by Darius wants to cross Trundle's territory. So Trundle just wanted to rip his head off to intimidate the army instead of just going for the kill That's why Darius doesn't kill him once Trundle falls unconscious. He won their respect (hence the Trolls in the mountains kneeling down) and now they can go in Freljord, no war intended. You can see Trundle being picked up by other Trolls in the background too since they're not, as I said, in war with Trundle's tribe If they don't change the lore, this should be the mission LeBlanc send Darius to stablish a mining zone, for the metal they infuse runes in
