Can you give any tips on how to catch and KEEP Tako, They get away and are very hard to hold

grab it around the base of its head just above where the tentacles meets the head and string it by running your stringer needle or kui into the opening in the head where the tako's propulsion jet is located. you call kill it or paralyze it by "biting the eye" technique, crushing it's brain with your teeth.(if you have teeth...lol)!

thanks for the tips but i cant seem to hit shit at all im a crack shoot with a real rifle but i suck so bad with the speargun,,,, can u tell me how u line it up at them moment im trying to use the spear like a iron sight and line it up that way am i wrong i got no idea pls help

I have a question on speargun aiming. Do you aim and point the tip of the spear AT the fish or do you put the tip of the spear slightly lower than the fish?

It would normally jump off the track. I would use tip #5 and see how accurate you can get it. The gun will also be uncomfortable to shoot
