Spearfishing Ft. Lauderdale - Shore Dive

Went for an afternoon shore dive off of Ft. Lauderdale with my new Seawolf speargun. Wanted to get used to the gun and grab some dinner. Ended up with a couple bluefish and yellow jacks.

Holy shit! Great lead shot! I never would have hit it. So I was under the impression that you can’t spearfish from a shore dive. Is this wrong?

Interesting spear gun I almost got that same gun. I have the path of sniper roller 95 And a Andre reef roller 135 with 4 rollers instead of 2

Nice, was this in Fort Lauderdale ? .. I use pneumatic guns so can’t elaborate much on the one you’re using. I live in Ft Laud as well .

Did you ever find out? I didn’t think it was legal. I’m pretty sure you have to be 200 feet off shore but I can only imagine coming back with fish that I would catch a ticket. LMK
