Yessahhhh! Spread da message! But only cleanup whats safe to gather. Imagine what 10 of us could do for a single spot, and I know some bad spots that need love. Good edit, you could get a lot of that murk out of the clips if you had premiere pro and took the time to learn color and image correcting.

@@Kanufyamada808 that depends on what you mean by cleaning. If you're looking to clean up rubbish and aren't too advanced, electric Beach access and go left. That spots loaded with careless tourists and once a year snorkelers, plus the cliff fishing leaves a lot of line strung out. Keep swimming towards paradise cove and you'll start coming up on roi. Be mindful of taking roi, if there is coral behind them, its not worth damaging a coral that took many years to grow for a fish we will never truly rid of. If its a rock behind, well do what you want but hope you're good a grinding new spear tips. A crooked spear tip grinding job can make a shaft drift when it cuts through water. There's a lot of rubbish and roi, I would say go and explore. I spent years swimming and drifting these shores to find better spots, along the way you will find the slack water spots where the rubbish is dense. And Don't risk safety cleaning up fishing line if you're in surge. You're more helpful alive!

tableboss taste like flounder and roi are like sea bass, but only the smaller ones may be safe to eat

Table boss make killer tacos. Chunky white meat, not too soft or hard, just right for tacos though. Check for mates before shooting, you'll know if the males around, an uglier dark version usually larger. I try and leave breeding pairs which you'll know since the males typically make themselves known when they're around.

@@ameritrev Mahalos! I'm always stoked to hear a spearo cares about their impact. I've got some educational videos I'm holding out on until I have a bigger platform. If you like the juicy details you'll be stoked when those finally come up. As I usually argue, I believe us Oahu divers are obligated to follow Maui regulations to give the reefs any relief we can. I haven't taken an Uhu in over a year hoping even my restraint would give some relief to our overworked island. My #1 goal is to get Maui regulations implemented to Oahu and inspire other divers to put a little more attention on caring for and protecting our reefs and shorelines. Its easy to see the problems when you travel outer islands for spearing.
