Spearfishing Lingcod & more at Santa Cruz Island

It's our winter and it's mostly in the 50s. That was a little chilly at 53 degrees. In Southern California as we approach spring our temps will increase into the 60s and later in the year it get's into the 70s. I hope you get a change to dive here sometime.

Thank you! This was my first time hunting Lingcod. We're usually looking for white seabass. It was nice to change it up and it was some of the best meat I've ever eaten.

Ya...getting skunked is part of the sport. We got lucky on that day...good timing with the weather &conditions. It was a fishy day!
