@Coconautify2 жыл бұрын
@@olliecraig-primalpursuit Yeah good, Local knowledge is essential, you DONT want to get ciguatera mate, it can really bugger you up big time. I tend to stay away from snappers (including the 'mu') , bigger jacks, coral trout because they are the riskiest to eat. I target parrotfish, drummers (usually up near the reef break), unicornfish, black trevallies (deeper water) and smaller doggies - chumming at the dropoff works great - or otherwise head out to FADs.... enjoy yourself dude - look forward to your next installment. If you're ever in Raro, make sure to let us know!

@olliecraig-primalpursuit2 жыл бұрын
There is some stuff you can get from the chemist that clears you out 'Apparently' but I hate using stuff like that if I can avoid it. I've actually never had it as bad as on this trip so new to me but I usually just don't go diving or just keep it shallow. We are lucky in NZ, at the right spot we can still shoot fish from the surface and set burleys to bring big snapper in very shallow! Will have to look for an option however for future big trips as would hate it to happen again
