Spearfishing Turbot - the most sought after fish in Norway

The turbot is maybe the most sought after fish among norwegian spearos. Many norwegian spearos spend countless hours searching for this fish, myself included. The feeling when you get when the turbot suddenly is laying right in front of you can not be described, it has to be experienced.

Nice dude!!! I grew up in southern California and I've been spearfishing since I was 16. I used to spend like 8 hours in the water just hunting similar sandy bottom mixed with sea grass structure looking for halibut. I never stopped spearfishing and free diving (30+ years later). Since then I've shot massive fish in places like Mexico and now I live in Costa Rica. But I enjoy hunting halibut just as much when I go back to my home waters. That was a great video. I'd love to see more like it. Keep diving brother!

@@lauritzlund-iversen2703 We mainly target yellow fin tuna, dorado and pargo. Occasionally we get a sail fish, wahoo or a marlin.

@@lauritzlund-iversen2703 20 kilos is perhaps a dream. Maybe possible. But individuals of 13-15 kilos I hear about being caught in nets. That's pretty close to the dream. But everyone thinks the same. They can weigh up to 25 kilos. So it's not impossible😁
