Thanks, when diving for wsb in the kelp I prefer a reel but when diving blue water for yellows I think a float line and float is the best way to go. When the kelp is thick the fish tie up pretty quick, my 150m reel has never been fully spooled in the kelp even with 60lb+ fish. With a float line/breakaway and float you don't have to worry about it and its easier to fight the fish. With that said, shooting fish with a reel is a lot more fun and exciting. Try different things and see what works for you. Camera is mounted to my mask, dive with freedive recovery vest;) Good luck.
