Wow ! I never would have thought that Greece can look like that. I always imagined it as a very sunny and hot place, much like Israel but with a wilder view. In Israel it only snows about 2 or 3 times each winter (about a few days for each time), and only on the high peaks - usually above 900m. I never would have Imagined that Greece can have a snowy shoreline, that looks absolutely amazing and it seems like a dream to dive in such conditions. Rock n’ Roll brother 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I use a triathalon skull cap, gloves, and socks when winter diving in New England. Water gets to apx 38°-43°F and wind is usually strong/cold. I have no trouble with the cold in a 7mm, K mits, and while I'm still working on my foot setup I have some 7mm open cell Yazbeck Hunter socks coming that when paired with my triathlon socks should provide the warmth I need without cutting off circulation. The triathalon gloves/socks/skully combo dramatically improves my heat retention.

Good info man, i really havent thought ! I can't use that thick shocks because i would then need to have 2 pairs of carbon fins because the footpockets only fit with 3mm shocks. But for sure in extra cold conditions like up north where you are, i would also add everything i could! Keeping hands and feet warm is really important!!!

@@stefpix I go a size larger on my foot pockets (47/48 opposed to a 45/46). In the winter I layer triathlon socks, then 7mm open cell Yazbeck Hunter socks (or 1.5mm + 3mm + triathalon) and in the summer layer a 7mm closed cell socks with a pair of SharkSkin socks. You can always stack socks without any risk of over heating, you just can't goo too thick or you'll cut off circulation. As far as fish are concerned, most species around here can't live in water under 50°F, so I don't see much. The visibility is great in winter and there isn't a lot of people cluttering up the dive spots. I use winter to practice my technique/apnea training and by the time the water warms up I'm primed to flourish with much less buoyancy and much less weight in my belt. I almost like off-season diving more because it feels more personal; like I can focus solely on my form and not worry about spearing fish. Stay Calm; Dive Deep. -NJF-

Wow! I went diving yesterday and it was 54 degrees F and I froze in my 7mil. Can only imagine how you guys felt. Like the new gun, notice the line release is on the right. Nice that you can reverse it if needed though. Great video. At least you didn't have to bring any ice with you!

This is why I drive a Subaru Outback. I change in the car with the heat! Once you get in the water it's nice, but you will literally turn to ice in a matter of minutes. I'm still tweaking my sock setup because you need warmth but also circulation. What did you use on your feet this trip?

Water temp can be seen in the beg of the video when i enter the sea for the first time. It was 10 degrees and at the spots near rivers where the melted snow ws coming in the sea, you could feel a rapid temp drop on the surface. It was at least 2 degrees lower but the dive watch being deeper didn't record that temp. It's the new Mr.Carbon 2.0 nice gun but i have to say i prefer my Meandros b32! I wasn't shooting them hoping for a Sea bass. In many cases Sea bass swim along Mullet groups!

Το πόσο αδημονούσα να δω αυτά τα πλάνα Δήμο δεν περιγράφεται! Ειδικά στην απίστευτα όμορφη εισαγωγή σου όπου φαίνεται η απόκοσμη εικόνα της θάλασσας να "αχνίζει" από τη διαφορά της θερμοκρασίας νομίζω ότι αντικατοπτρίζεται το απόγειο της ομορφιάς του χειμερινού ψαροντούφεκου με τον καλύτερο τρόπο! Χαρά στο κουράγιο σας πάντως, ο Γιώργος σε ακολουθεί πιστά παντού και με οποιεσδήποτε συνθήκες! Το σιντριβάνι στην παραλία από την Ομόνοια το πήρανε απ' ό,τι έμαθα🤣🤣! Τα νερά όντως πολύ καθαρά και το όλο σκηνικό σε προδιέθετε για σίγουρη συνάντηση με λαβρακόσαυρο! Υποθέτω όμως ότι για να αυξήσεις τις πιθανότητές σου για κάτι τέτοιο θα πρέπει να πας πολύ πιο βόρεια! Συγχαρητήρια και πάντα τέτοια!

You are an really experienced and great hunter, but I can't understand that why you turn your head left to right so quickly and many times when you are on an agachon in shallow water. When we are in shallow water for seabass hunt, we stay so silent and static that we know if there is any seabass in the area, it oftenly come to your vision area....

Υes i agree with you Ali. Actually you can see videos from me and George. I think George is moving his head way more in this video because there mullets coming from everywhere! I try not to move my head all the time and i was only moving it when i saw fish coming. If you see my previous video you will notice that i don't move a lot and i agree with you, fish come into our viewing-shooting angle most of the times!

Τhanks Alexander! The octo was actually killed with a knife between the eyes but octopuses don't go numb intantly like fish do when brained. Fish also feel pain that's why we try to dispatch them within seconds.

Πάντως και εδώ στα δικά μας μέροι η θερμοκρασίες 9-11 βαθμούς η κίνηση είναι κακή για λαβράκια.. Ίσως κάποια μονά ψάρια.. Σε αντίθεση το 12-13 έχει τελείως άλλο πρόσωπο! Ωραίο βίντεο δήμο!

Από Νοέμβρη μέχρι Φλεβάρη, ψαρεύω κυρίως λαβράκια και αφήνω τα μαύρα στην ησυχία τους.

@@NikosAndrianos O κέφαλος έχει περισσότερο κόκκινο στο κρέας όπως έχουν και τα πιο πελαγικά ψάρια.Οπότε αυτό το παραπάνω αίμα στο φιλέτο, είναι ίσως αυτό που δεν σου αρέσει τόσο. Δοκίμασε να φιλετάρεις ένα ψάρι και να αφαιρέσεις εντελώς το κόκκινο, κρατώντας μόνο τα λευκά φιλέτα. Ψήστα μόνα τους στον αέρα με λιγο λάδι και πιππεράκι και θα εκπλαγείς!

Βλεπω απο τις αρχες σχεδον το καναλι σου, το περιεχομενο συνεχεια ανεβαινει επιπεδο και συγχαρητηρια, αλλα παρατηρησα κατι εδω και λιγο καιρο που με χαλαει προσωπικα. Νομιζω μ'αρεσαν καλυτερα τα βιντεο με τους υποτιτλους γιατι τωρα με τα σπικαζ νιωθω οτι μου χαλαει λιγο την ηρεμια των πλανων. Φιλικα παντα σαν συχνος θεατης του περιεχομενου σου!

Πλέον επειδή πηρα ένα μικρόφωνο,είναι πιο εύκολο να πω 5 πράγματα και να πληκτρολογώντας τους αγγλικους υπότιτλους έτσι και αλλιώς. Επίσης σε πολλές περιπτώσεις μπορεί να ηθελα να πω κάποια πράγματα για την βουτια αλλά δεν τα έγραφα για να μην γεμίζω κείμενα την εικόνα. Επέπλεε επίσης να πληκτρολογώντας τα πάντα και σε δυο γλώσσες τελικά. Φροντίζω πάντα τα λόγια να μην πέφτουν πάνω σε στιγμές με κάποιο σοβαρό ψάρι ή κάποια συλληψη γενικότερα! Θα υπάρχει κάτι πριν είτε μετά.
