Oh man, this was fantastic! The lighting, the sound, everything was just great. I love the idea of a more bite-sized batrep, and I think focusing on spearhead is definitely the way to go. If we could maybe see a batrep of Cities vs. FEC I would be very happy!

Even though it is short I'm glad you kept in showcasing the armies at the beginning. Half of the fun for me is just seeing the different armies and paint jobs. Maybe at the end y'all could do a recap of what you might have done different/learnings?

I've never seen this channel before, but the algorithm recommended it because I've been watching so many Spearhead battle reports. This was a really good one. Clear commentary with skillful music levelling, lovely camera work used effectively to show what was happening (loved the shots of the cards especially), solid mini painting standard... honestly the only nitpick I have is the intro music was a little long. You just gained a subscriber!

I actually really enjoyed the condensed bat rep, especially for the Spearhead format! One thing to potentially include, I loved the beautiful cinematic shots of the army but it could be worth having someone do a voiceover about what exactly is in the forces. I’m not too familiar with AoS so other than the Skaventide box, so I personally wouldn’t know what the units would be for future reports, this could just be me though 😂 Overall, absolutely amazing video and the editing was great!

First of all great video and good work on the cinematic shots and the depth of field effects. Now you said quick and sharp, and i do get the point, but it felt a bit rushed, in my opinion. Maybe give the battlereport a solid 10 to 15 minutes (despite the algorithm) And also i think it would be nice to have a bit more narrative. Maybe play out some key moments like the death of the hero. I think this could make it a bit more entertaining and immersing when the suspense kicks in and we are more in the game. Instead of this happens then this happened, then that triggered this, and so on. But for the first one , it's already up there with the top 20% of batreps.

I Like this format, but personally I think it would benefit from being slightly slower paced. I'm speaking as someone who is new to the game so Its a bit difficult to keep up at times. I understand that this might not be a widely held opinion however. I also think it would be fun if you injected a bit more narrative into it if that is something that feels natural to you. For me the stories Warhammer games tell is what makes the game come alive, so if this is something that you've found to be true as well I think it would be great for it to find it's way into the battle reports as well. I LOVE the fact that this wasn't as intense and shout'y as battle reports tend to be. Calm and soothing, just like this channel in general. So thank you for that! I'd love to see a video on spearhead with the Lumineth. I'm thinking of picking up a box but I'm a bit concerned about how they'll play, and if the lineup makes sense on such a small board.

Great battle report. This being your first, congratulations on a job well done. I would suggest that you stretch it out and slow it down a bit as it felt a bit rushed and chaotic for me. I am the type of person that likes to get invested narratively in characters, like the random clan rat called Bob cos he looks like a Bob or a lowly grunt that rose to the occasion and smote all in his path due to lucky dice rolls while the big beautifully sculpted and painted leader of the army cant get squat done cos of bad rolls. I'm not saying make a 2 hour report, keep it short and simple but add a little sprinkle of flavor. All that being said I have no doubt that your battle reports will get better and better and I look forward to more of your videos.

I would very much like NOT to see another top-down camera ever again :D If you could record these at an angle, even if its really high still, recording at an angle is so much better than this boring top-down that you can't distinguish what the models are and we completely lose the beauty of the models anyway.
