I think you are spot on talking about the chemicals we are using on our crops. Ever since roundup came into play we have had a decline on our quail and what pheasants to not hardly many left, and now we have to deal with all the nest raiders also. I think the same thing on the clean fields deer and wildlife don’t stay in there like they used to with no wild millet patches in the fields or any other ground cover in there to hide in . Glad I’m not the only one noticing this, I really liked the podcast and usually don’t watch or even listen to one but yours was good 👍

I live just north of you up by Tanner’s in a small area that’s all organic farming. Our deer and wildlife are thriving, no dead deer in the area either. Alfalfa fields are littered with deer, rabbits, mice…etc. It’s a shame more farmers aren’t using organic methods.

I've always loved and respected Tim, wise beyond his years. I believe Tim is one of the top 3% of hunters to have ever been in our time. Have enjoyed watching Tim and his family hunt, evolve, and share their journey's over the past decades. We're all very happy and proud of Sydney's success. Never stop. Thanks for sharing all those great memories, hunts, and experience.

I grew up in Iowa hunting pheasant, quail, rabbit, deer, and whatever else we could put in the freezer. Moved away in the early 80’s when I was about 14. Every year I’ve gone back, the hunting has gotten worse, to the point that pheasant and quail are almost non-existent in some areas.

These days it seems it's all about ever increasing crop yield per acre more than anything else. Isn't it up to the landowner to decide what is and isn't allowed to be used on the crops? I'm not a farmer and my hunting knowledge and experience is extremely limited but it seems to me that there should be sufficient operating practices data from the past that one could go back to that might turn the table on the increasingly detrimental diseases affecting deer populations. I love these chat sessions with you and your dad. I'm sure your mom and brother have some interesting stories to share. And I know you have to have some stories to tell yourself. Maybe let your dad interview you. There's no doubt many come for the blonde, big boobs and beauty but once they get to know Ms Sydnie they stay because she's so interesting and fun to watch and listen to. Thanks for sharing this podcast. I look forward to each video y'all post. Safe travels and good hunting.

What a blast, I could listen to you two for hours. I may have got my last elk in Colorado this year bow hunting. 39 years in a row. If they pass this law, saying we cant hunt mountain lions I am done hunting here. I always buy a tag for mountain lions just incase I need to shoot one (it happens) and that way I dont have to put my future in the hands of someone at CPW to determine if it was self defense. I will move out of the state.. Sad.

Tim thanks for talking about the deer herd and what chemicals from spraying crops. I have said the same thing here in West Virginia. Also in our creeks an rivers here. There isnt very many frogs and crayfish. I ask the dnr here , why they dont restock the frogs and crayfish. They told me why stock them into an inhospitable environment . In the 1950's there were so many bull frogs here that. You couldnt talk above when fishing at night. To many chemical companies that dumped here in the late 50's an 60's . They made agent orange for the Vietnam war here. I hope men like you and the other celebrity hunters came maybe get some action taken before everything is gone.

Hey Sydnie. Your dad is a great guest. Really enjoyed his stories. But you ask who we like to see, so I'm here to tell ya. I'm a big viewer of KZbin. So I'd love for you to interview or even collaborate with some of my other favorites in the vlogs. Deermeatfordinner is an obvious choice, but then there is also his wife DeerMom. Kelly Young would be another one. Any of the goobs from the Googan Squad. (Not AP again). Maybe even get those fishing nuts to go hunting with you. For that matter take some non outdoor KZbinr out like you do for Outside The Office. Tim: Consumers have been saying for decades that they don't want any pesticides and/or chemicals on their food. We have to convince more farmers to stop putting that shit out there. Shout out to Little Jack for standing on that table for most of the podcast. Good job Jack. Good job Sydnie.

I have noticed this decline in WI over the past 5-8 years. It is really sad to see this occurring. Mature bucks specifically but also all species of wildlife. I grew up trapping and have a good comprehension of the food chain an it really worries me. Nobody seems to be listening or caring. I attended the spring harvest meeting for my county and brought up the lack of deer as well as other concerns. I was able to show them on their own graphs that they were wrong in their high population estimates yet nothing was done and they even voted in more season special hunts. Just terrible.

I have a question for Tim . Why do yall put all those chemicals on your crops if you know it's bad for the wildlife ? It sounds like yall could improve your heard and wildlife on the ranch if stop with all the chemicals. Last I believe that CWD is like Covid it was created. When CWD first hit us in rock springs Texas in the early 2000 it came over the county like a pleag. What was crazy it only affected the native whitetail & mule deer . Now here's the kicker Axis , fallow , black buck , excedra it didn't affect none of our exotics when all our whitetail & mule deer in the whole county died . Now how is that possible unless it was created to take out the native wildlife. Love your show been watching your dad for a long time he is the true slock master . God bless you and your family God-bless America 🇺🇸

Tim's right about man destroying the habitat. I've seen the same thing as the cornfield eating habits of the deer here in Texas. They will eat right up to the maize or corn thats been treated for bugs and weeds and move on to another food source. They also have to compete with the feral hog population.

Honestly, tile in our fields , I believe, is the cause ... Drains all the chemicals into the rivers, no moisture in the ground to evaporate, causing drought.. Massive floors due to the build-up of silt , then no water due to no natural evaporation. Just my opinion, but I see the rivers here in ne iowa that used to be 15 ta 20 ft deep are now 2 ta 3 foot.. All the fish are gone in the small rivers, deer are dying , song birds,etct.. I believe tile needs to be outlawed, and existing tile needs plugged. All the buffer zones for run off have been tore out, fence rows ripped out.. it ridiculous 😒...
