I think most of us really love Moonbyuls lower voice, but I also think is really important to see how versatile is her voice color, in this cover we can definitely hear Moonbyul's sweet voice, is a color that she must have achieved with a lot of practice and training. I love Moonbyul, but I am pretty sure most female idols are just told how they should sound and how they should sing, which is cutesy and higher pitched. Her singing voice isn’t exceptionally low IMO, it just not common amongst those chosen to be female idols. Also, women’s voices deepen with age and younger female idols tend to be more popular and fade away before they get very far into there late 20s.

When I listen to moonbyuls vocals I always wonder how it would have been if she had debuted as a vocalist with the other girls as this is definitely not her peak. With 6 years experience like the other girls I really do think she would be a very acknowledged vocal in kpop 🥺though I am glad she is a rapper as she has an amazing flow and adds complexity to mamamoo’s songs but it would have been great to make her a lead vocal from the beginning

I know where you're coming from, but personally I'm kinda glad that she only starts know to explore and show her singing abilities. Reason is, I've never see a group where a rapper adds quality singing to his/her portfolio. And I believe this will bring more complexity, more new compositions to Mamamoo and therefor makes me really exited what I will see and hear in the future. And I think, if Moonbyul would have been a vocal from day one, we probably would have never met the rapper Moonbyul and that would be pretty sad.

I listened to kihyun and minhee's version of this I was wondering where I heard this song I also listened to the original one which was bogum's but it wasn't what I was looking and upon scrolling I saw this and I listened to this there I found out it was Moonbyul's version which I liked more.. There's just something in her voice that made the song more emotional

This was Jukjae's original song. His version was heavenly. But I like Moonbyul's version more (a little bit more) than Jukjae's. Bc this sounds 'casual' and thus approachable and relatable. It's like JJ's version is like a flowy tulle ball gown then MB's version is like a hip casual wear. Am I even making any sense? hahaha
