Text-painting is a technique in media where you represent words or lyrics in visual form as they're being read/sung. It's a really cool technique and it's everywhere in this MV, though usually in a really memey, Dreamcatcher-y way. Although I have to add that for me popular artists/groups are not “trash”, but just overrated because they are made to be popular not good.(catchy songs, basic popular concepts, simple lyrics with direct meanings etc) Also in K-pop industry, the more popular you become, the less time you have to actually practice the music.(I say that because I’m a big le sserafim fan and since they became so popular, they became marketing products and don’t have that much time left to practice their music and I can’t defend them for their latest performances - and same goes for other popular groups that introduced me to K-pop and I still respect them). So for me it’s good enough to listen to underrated artists like Dreamcatcher because I know they sing and do music for their “small” fandom and not for the money and popularity. Also I don’t think they’re the best ever to make music, I just think they’re good enough for me to like them more than the others.(based on a combination of talent, skills, concept, lyrics with multiple layers of meaning about problems in real world and society, plus they’re fun to watch for side content).

Happyface ent. might not be one of the biggest company in korea but they do have one of the best group artists as well as the staff and editors. And their concept in every MV shows how creative their minds are. They can make a plot/story that can be seen in a series of songs. It's very rare to see songs that are connected to each other. I think they can survive this industry with or without a win since they manage to promote DC in every part of the globe. They also have their own variety show. Seriously HF is the best company. They treat their idols so well. Even their staffs are so good and fun people. They are so good at protecting their artists. Remember how D1CE's rapper Woo Jinyoung won MIXNINE and got in the debut team and than because of the mistreatments HF stood against YG entertainment to protect their trainee. HF is good at treating idols but umm one thing that kinda bothers(?) *me* (a.k.a from business *outsider* perspective) is their comeback date decision. like, it wasn't that bad like other groups but for some previous DC comebacks i wished they did it like a week or two weeks earlier or later, so the cb wont get overshadowed by bigger groups especially big4. not that im telling groups to avoid competition but sometimes if you're still new and dont have name yet in the industry, better look for the 'not crowded' time to get the spotlight. BUT WELL.... idk what's actually going on inside the company in those days so i cannot blame HF. HF treating DC as "work partners" instead of "product" is already 10000% better than other companies. i truly feel like DC is in good hands. and this RTU Odd Eye era is kinda the best decision cuz eventhough the competition still tough since there are groups with good digitals but this era i have good feeling Odd Eye will do better than we expected.
