Would kids with an IEP or in SPecial Ed get a regular High School diploma or just a certificate?

Kids with IEPs or in Special Ed can absolutely still receive a high school diploma. It all depends on the types of classes that they take - e.g., a student would still need to fulfill the requirements for graduation like science and social studies classes. A student may have special education as main placement but goes to general education social studies classes with accommodations. Within the IEP, accommodations are slight changes made to help the student be successful, and still keep them on track for a diploma. Modifications, on the other hand, actually change the work the student is doing and disqualify the student from being diploma bound, so you want to be sure you are very certain about IEP. Communicate to your IEP team and allow them to help guide!

I was ar my small town school. Its not good for normal kids. We have a big family who they can be around . My younger daughter who is autistic cant really sit for 8 hrs . She gets overwhelmed with too many noises and distractions. Im also not doing aba im not for that

My daughter will be 5 she is non verbal. I don't want her in the public school here. She isn't potty trained yet either . I want her to be home but cyber school or have a Teacher come in to teach her
