Joyce Muriithi from MD, USA, It is enriching to hear all the challenges and success stories. This tells us that there is a human solution to these challenges if we all apply respect-value to the people we are mobilizing and be trustworthy by handing out what we propose-offer vaccine facts and benefits versus the negative. Not to go on the defensive but deflate the negative by focusing on the value of vaccinations in prevention and contribution to overall wellbeing and longevity of healthy life. We all want to lead a long, divine healthy life.

I support Ismailia on immunization workforce development. Staff need to be trained coached and mentored not only on safe vaccine delivery but also customer service, how to empathize with communities and clients they are taking care of, how to add personalized care to vaccine administration. This should include education on side effects and what the vaccine does.

I have really benefited from this program. First of all, we are all doing well in helping the community and country as a whole. But my challenge is we are leaving the speech and hearing impaired behind. And I know the agenda is leaving no one behind. So what can we do to help the speech and hearing impaired. Some of us are ready but cannot do it alone Thank you

Kudos to presenter from Cameroon on PIRI and assertion of looking for innovative way of implementing PIRI. I would love to ask the methodology used for PIRI and probably enable me share the Nigerian experience. PIRI is effective in fragile States as well as environments where immunization coverage is low, largely as a result of inequity in access

Finding and convincing other sectors to who already have established activities to incorporate or collaborate in immunization activities. They are hesitant and say that the government/EPI is already doing immunization. The way forward is stakeholder identification, sensitization and more immunization awareness education & trainings.

The problem of insecurity is posing a very serious challenge to success of implementing immunization activities. Two weeks ago, i was at Wasagu/Danko LGA of Kebbi state, NIgeria. Some of the settlements were displaced by the bandits and other terrorists. Most of the people claimed that what they need is food, water and shelter and not vaccines. so, it was not easy for us.

In my experience lack of knowledge of both by staff andprents is the biggest challenge to immunization. People leave the vaccinator without knowing what to expect. The vaccinitor sometimes may not pay attention or may not know what side effects different vaccines may have in this case even when a patient comes back to the physician with vaccine related side effects the situation may be finished and creating a barrier making the parents never to want to take the vaccines again.

In my experience lack of knowledge of adult vaccines both by staff and beneficiaries is the biggest challenge to adult vaccines. Lack of personalized vaccination care means people leave the vaccinator without knowing what to expect. The doctors sometimes may not pay attention or may not know what side effects different vaccines may have in this case even when a patient comes back to the physician with vaccine related side effects the situation may be dismissed creating a barrier making the person never to want to take the vaccines again.
