I respect how seriously John Malkovich is taking his next role as a Green Beret.

A SF Warrant Officer told me he went Warrant because it let him remain a booger eater. I get it. 😁

Well said. Bro wasn't it the Warrant Officers who were the subject matter experts on doctrine that were the most brainwashed puppets that sold the rest of us out every chance they got?

First time I'm learning Fran was an 18 alpha, actually thought you were an 18Z team sergeant or an 18B weapon Sergeant because of how freely you chatted with guests and were laid back. Need to also get a full interview with someone else asking you the questions on why you chose the Officer SF path albeit being the one where you'd spend the shortest time on the ODA, and if you could do it differently, if you'd enlisted instead and swap over to Warrant as Ostrander did when he made E7?

Haha! There are some cool officers! I loved my time on the ODA and somehow managed to squeeze out an unheard of 3 years on one. We had an experienced team that worked well together and it definitely helped in the development of our leaders. I was also fortunate to have a great platoon prior to that in the Infantry, which I think was critical effectively leading an ODA. Would do anything to do it all over again! Stay tuned for more and thanks for watching!

Never ceases to amuse me, the American hubris, ' and..oh ..we were fighting an inferior enemy '. But when they end up losing despite superior gear, munitions, food and training they still don't realise that "It is a fatal culture and treacherous luxury to be allowed to denigrate and/or underestimate laudaciously one's enemies in name of maintaining confidence and elevated morale in the ranks". A fight to the death is always unpredictable no matter how much of an upper hand or preparation or better gear you think you have

Name one war that the US has "lost" aside from ones they left before end game. Vietnam ended because there was no civilian support. Afghanistan same story. In both cases the local forces were able to "win" only because the Americans left.

@jiminysnicket86 We lost the Civil War to start. Then, shortly after, we barely won the Great Sioux War of 1876. Modern times it has been blurred politically with crippling ROEs and we haven't had many clear a decicive victories since WWII.

I think it's new and becoming accepted especially since there were so many vets on January the 6th, pro lem is the train ING.. trump squad has vets from Afghanistan and world 2 vet, guerilla ware is still an infant but now their adding a certain element of it that Trump squad hates.. change..
