I'm Al's age and I had stopped doing cars when I had kids. Watching Al in his shed back when Marty brought his MX-5 to when he "retired" was always fun watching him drop his been-there-done-that knowledge on us. The last few years I'm back in the shed and doing engine swaps, not because it's easy but because it's mine, and it's really fun solving the problems that always come up.

There have been many times working on cars or fabricating something that I have remembered something Al has taught us and helped me out tremendously. Thanks for sharing so much boys it’s amazing how it helps people like me all over the world ❤ I really hope Al posts some videos later when he is feeling it even if it’s just hacks and tips to learn more from the legend

As an American , I primarily watch Australian car shows, mighty car mods and skid factory, Al has thought me sooo much on turboes, amazing ability to explain things in layman’s terms. Thank you Marty and moog for bringing him to the world, and as an American who loves big Disel pickup trucks and big block cars, yall have made me love nuggets also!

Al, don't sell yourself short mate. There's a reason why your build threads were absolutely massive back in the forum days. The Skid Factory would have become popular off it's own merits without a doubt. That MCM boost helped, but you only got that boost because the MCM guys had a heap of respect for you because of the builds and knowledge you shared on the forums. Before KZbin was a thing, before subscribing to a channel existed, there were a bunch of links I had bookmarked, it was the O.G. subscribe button. I wish I still had those links, from memory there were sites like MotoIQ, AutoSpeed and build threads in places like corner carvers and performance forums. One of my most memorable threads was an engine conversion on a Liberty, that was an epic thread. Good memories.

Couple of things. 1. Being from the USA and stumbling onto MCM many years ago, I have always viewed Australia as the most "USA" like country outside of the USA when it comes to cars. The Australians get it, big power, crazy skids and just the enjoyment of it all. I have never traveled to Australia, but I will say, To all you Australians out there I see you all as Brothers from Different Mothers haha Love You All and We have your back, and I know you have ours. That's all I have to say about that. 2. Al is a LEGEND. The knowledge and just Talent that this Man possesses, He is definitely the "Turbo Yoda". I know MCM is feeling so blessed to have crossed paths with him. 3. Nissan doesn't get much love here in the USA. The new Z basically just sits on dealer lots and no one buys them. It doesn't help the buy in cost is freaking crazy for what it is. I think for the money? I would go Golf R. But thats just me 😎👍

The only company I have heard of so far trying to implement this is BMW but if one brand is already trying then other brands will be trying to do the same thing. PS. Please don't buy a mk4 supra. Unless it has a weird swap. Overbuilt
