I love Mamamoo not only because they are outstanding talented artists with a beautiful unique musical color but also because they warm my heart, bring me joy everyday, teach me that there are many many reasons I should love myself and also make me a truly better person. They are unique, honest, golden hearted people that I love seeing grow older. Four years ago I was in a very very bad place, and slowly, little by little, I regained the will to breathe in life again. Mamamoo brought back color to my life with their warmth. Mamamoo is a very unique and strong group. They were able to accomplished a lot of things together and they were able to also show their individuality. I watched this and cried. Then watched Moonbyul's cover of Trying To Say Goodbye, and cried. Then came back here, and cried some more. I'm not into K-Pop, and only follow Mamamoo. I'm a mess at the thought they might disband next year. But I want them to be happy more than anything. When 2021 rolls around, they would have devoted close to a decade to Mamamoo, if you include their three years as trainees. It's time for them to seek happiness, whatever form that may take. If they choose to renew their contract, then this iMooMoo would be ecstatic. If they do not, then they have my good wishes, my thanks for showing me K-Pop idols are capable of breaking the mold, and my fervent wish that the future is filled with light, love, and happiness.

Thank you for the english subs! They all sound so somber in this interview. The struggle for happiness seems to be the reoccurring theme, and I hope they can snag whatever joy they can because they deserve it. I struggle with anxiety and depression, and Whee in being honest about her battles makes me love her even more. I appreciate Moon byul being honest about her struggles as well, because we need role models like Mamamoo to show the rest of us its not always ok, everyone has battles to fight. Hwasa seems to be hurting right now too, and I just hope she knows we love her. I admire Solar because while she may be shy, she is capable of expressing her feelings so truthfully that i think she helped foster an environment where they could all grow. I know she has admitted to struggling as leader in the beginning, but it takes real strength of character to not only admit fault but actively change and improve. You can see the love for one another when they are all together not because they always get along but because they bicker, and then they play, they cry and they laugh and it's just beautiful. I love them all, they are so open with their fans, and have worked so hard in what must be such an emotionally turbulent environment. Massive support from Moomoos, juxtaposed with toxic media, haters, and even wild speculation from some of their own fans. Plus their contract is up soon, they all have worked successfully as soloists, and they have huge decisions to make this year. I just want to say how grateful I am for them as people, and as artists and all they have given to us over the last six years. The happiness they speak of is never a permanent state, it's just as many moments you can grab along the way, and I'll love and support them no matter what comes next. They have never let us down yet. I hope you find your happiness Kim Yong Sun, Moon Byul Yi, Jung Whee In, and Ahn Hye Jin. You have earned our love and respect already, I just want whatever future for you that brings you the most health and joy. You deserve it!

I've seen some people discussing the possibility of them disbanding soon because of the incoming expiration of their contracts and I do honestly think its absurd. While I don't close the possibility of it happening, the relationship between the members and the company is quite good (they have pointed this out a lot of times before). RBW gives them at least a great deal of freedom and creativity as a member of mamamoo and as a solo artist (more than most companies I've seen at least) so them suddenly not renewing would be a total surprise to me. That in mind, if they don't renew it shouldn't necessarily mean they'd disband. Girls groups have stayed together despite of being in being different companies (ex. GG, BEG).

hey, thanks for telling this. I just saw comments and other stuffs (posts, vids, etc) on them disbanding, and without even knowing I almost made myself believe in it and it was devastating. As someone who discovered mmm last year and started stanning them just recently, it's just hard and I seriously started regretting my choice for not coming to mmm earlier. 조금 늦게 6주년 영상들을 찾아보고 있지만, 힘들어도 힘든 티 잘 안 내고 웃어주는 모습에 항상 감동받고 있었어요. 지금도 그런 것 같기도 하구요. 우연히 봤던 영상으로 입덕하게 되고 그렇게 시간이 3년정도 흘렀네요. 무대에서 멋진 모습 보여주고, 아래에서는 한없이 따뜻한 모습을 보여줬던 언니들과 벌써 3년을 보냈다는 게 믿기지가 않아요. 우리는, 적어도 나는 언니들이 마마무라서 좋아하는 것도 있지만 인간 대 인간으로서 멋있고 본받고 싶은 모습들도 많아서, 사람 자체를 좋아하는 게 더 큰 것 같아요. 학생인데 "덕질같은 거 하지 말고 공부해라" 라는 말을 듣는 게 너무 싫고, 내가 괜히 언니들 욕 먹이는 것 같아서 싫었어요. 그래서 언니들을 실제로 만날 기회가 된다면 그때 '언니들 보면서 공부했고, 이 성적 만들었어요!' 라고 당당하게 말할 수 있을 만큼 그리고 어른들이 더이상 저 말을 하지 않게 하기 위해서 열심히 공부했어요. 앞으로도 그럴 거구요. 수능 때까지 열심히 달려서 당당할 수 있는 결과 만들어 올게요. 우리 마마무도 앞으로 하고싶은 거 다 하면서 행복에 한 발짝 다가갔으면 좋겠어요. 놓지않을게💚

I’ve been loving and supporting mamamoo since Mr. Ambigous, I was hooked from their acapella intro(I mean who wouldn’t) they’ve always have made me proud with each release to be called a MooMoo, I may not be a Kpop Stan like I used to be but I’ll always be a MooMoo, their songs have brought me joy and peace. Waiting for those comebacks and listening to their growth in their amazing music throughout the years has been amazing. I love mamamoo individually and together, they are amazing and true artist I admire. Yes, there might be a possibility that they will disband. But me as a Moomoo, I understand. Its their life, they have to decide to it. Let's not be selfish. As they have said that they will think of it carefully. Also, as they have said that its possible that they will have a family or child in another 7 years. If they disband, its okay. But if they will continue, were happy. I just want to make suggestion, even if they will disband and continue with their solo projects. I want them to work together at least once a year. Even if they are soloist, I want them to work on 1 song once a year. That will be awesome. (Just personal suggestion)
