Special needs 5yr old gets a new walker

Today Leon got his NEW WALKER! Then he has a doctor appointment. After picking up some packages we finally got to fix some things in our camper and then cook dinner and talk about my pregnancy belly.

I really really wonder how long it will take for Theo to realize that his big brother is different from him cognitively and physically? I think by the time Theo turns 1 and starts to walk, Leon will not be confused, as he can't really comprehend much. Then when Theo is around 2 and starts to speak words and put simple sentences together at 3 and meaningfully communicates with mom and dad - that's when he will realize that his big brother is special.. Theo looks so cute!!!!! I really really LOVE how cute Theo looks, such an amazingly sweet lil guy!!! Keep well and be safe guys, especially during these hard covid-19 times! Sweet 😁

I think you guys should get him like a seat for the walker so when his legs give out he has a landing and wont fall to the floor. With the seat he would also be able to move his legs still in the seat

Hi guys another great video thank you, Jody I noticed that Leon was doing a lot of rocking today, my to boys also do this as well, they both have Mild Autisum, I'm sure in time MR Leon will get use to his new walker, Jody there is another family on KZbin called, THIS IS OUR BRIGHT SIDE, they have a boy about Leon's age, who also has Special needs, and he is learning to talk, and walk with his walker, you would love watching him, go through the videos and find the one where he is just started to walk, it's so moving, look after yourselfs, keep safe and well

They sell longer dryer hoses at any home repair store. It's too bad Leon's walker doesn't have a cloth sling seat in it like a baby walker and then as he gets stronger and more stable maybe remove the seat.

He is getting a part that helps stabilize/support his waist/hips but we have tried the seat sling thing before and he just wants to sit down and not walk haha so that is why there is no seat

But my vision was that if the seat was high enough that only his toes or full feet hit the floor, he might soon realize that he could move his feet to get you two, food and car cars. Lol It would take some time of moving his feet for him before he sees he can do that.

Purple is my absolute favorite color! Alyssa was so excited when she seen that. It is exactly like her walker. Her walker has a seat on it so when she gets tired she has a place to rest. We have to keep her front wheels locked too. Alyssa said that if she was there her and Leon could take a walk together! LOL! I completely understand the parking situation, and the mask do not make it any better. I know pregnancy makes it harder. Soon, very soon little Theo will be in your arms and not your belly! Love you guys!

Awww Leon has the same.walker as I do even same colour but I've got a special sling seat that stops me from falling to the ground if I get tired , I hope he enjoys it he is so cute and so is Theo, sorry I only just saw this video you already have your other beautiful boy , way to go Leon xxxxx

Theo is almost here so that is very exciting and you can have your lungs and stuff back :) I have a bunch of masks and the best one i found is the 3.00 ones from target. They are so hard to find the "one" that you like and works for you. Love his walker. I am sure like with everything else the walker will take time to get use to then it will be like it has always been a part of his life

I have several cloth masks, but the paper ones are easier to breathe in... ps: I wash my paper ones in my sink with really hot water, rinse and hang to dry.... they aren’t really paper anyway...

The vent we have is actually made to be inside, it's kind of cool you can easily clean it out and put some water in it to keep it form getting hot
