They went out and did their thing. There are many dancers that don't event go and battle. This is also a learning process for each dancer. Not one person on This earth that's a great dancer today started busting out perfection. Everyone starts somewhere, respect. (Don't know how long they have been dancing either).
The girl with the dreadlocks may be less sexy, but she's definitely the better dancer.. She understands the beat in more intricate ways, and translates it better with her body.

I disagree. Livia (i guess that's her name as i don't understand them - the taller one) is better in my honest opinion, because her dance tells a story. \the other one (i presume Julia) is too random and incoherent for my tastes. But what do i know? I don't like dancehall, i'm just watching it so i know what to expect, because a friend of mine wants me to come to a dancehall party. :)

I love the fact they are doing it too but most of the contestants are poor and most Caribbean's dance at every opportunity from the time they can walk -every Saturday in my family we'd bust the tunes-house work done to it- drive mum up the wall. I genuine think most of the contestants are poor at dancehall regardless of colour it's not how it's done.

These girls can dance. Blame the DeeJay and MC. I've seen enough of Livia and Daphne (girl with dreads) to know they are 1000x better than this.

olaf2046 olaf2046 It's nice to see them doing Dancehall, but as JoniHitlish seh, "You have whining tunes, dances tunes, and gun tunes. All different moves for types of songs." They were off beat and not using the right dance moves for certain songs. They have potential, but just need fi practice more so they can get the beats and songs down correctly, so they can go with beat and dance moves of any songs the DJ/MC put out. Girls keep doing yuh ting n keep practice going.

I see that ignorance is a divider for some of you. Using colour as a means of division. Marcus Garvey spoke about emancipating yourself from mental slavery some of us black people are still mentally in slavery. Now that as nothing to do white people oppression it has to do with you as an individual or you as a culture and as a Jamaican our culture is not about division but always about unity being born in Jamaica and having parents of jamaican I haven't parents ask jamaican doesn't award you with nobility but its just stupidity. When Bob Marley introduced reggae music to the world is for the world to understand that we are one little island of so much potential so much love for everyone and then you will see the world for what it is or what it could be a world of love.

Kimberly Casey glad to see we can have intelligent debates here. I didn't mean the comments personally to you. I was using a generalization as you did in describing these girls as Caucasians who only know River dance. These girls are from Eastern Europe not the Nordic or Northern European girls who do the river dancing. I don't know why you took it personally and replied angrily, I used a generalization to reply to your generalization.
