About Ground Floor:
Ground Floor centers on Brody (Skylar Astin), a young hot-shot banker who thought he was just having a one-night stand with Jenny (Briga Heelan), a beautiful woman he met at an office party. He discovers, however, that she works in the maintenance department for the building where his bank -- Remington Trust -- is located. Suddenly their worlds begin to collide in the most unexpected ways.

Fuck it... Ground Floor was way more hilarious than Two and a Haf Men's last 2-3 seasons. Funnier than Big Bang Theory's first episodes of season 8. Overall, had awkward moments but way better than most sitcoms.

Remember, this is the pilot. I always give any new show 4 to 6 episodes to start getting good. Actors (and writers) need time to find their characters. Unless it's a BBC show where 6 episodes is the whole first series.

Great show! The reason why it wasn't a success (which it could've been) was because there was ZERO sexual tension between Brody and Jenny. They slept together 5 minutes after they met! He got the girl before the first commercial break! C'mon! Who's idiotic idea was that??? Hasn't FRIENDS taught you nothing?? You gotta give the viewers something to chew on week after week. A little stick and carrot doesn't kill anyone. Hence, the viewers lost interest because there was nothing ever at stake between Brody and Jenny. They were boyfriend and girlfriend by the 2nd episode. They were supposed to be from two drastic and different social backgrounds which clashed with each other but little by little they slowly begin to develop feelings for on another, him 'upstairs guy' and her 'groundfloor girl'. IT SAYS IT IN THE TITLE, FOR HEAVENS SAKES! They weren't supposed to hook up until at least season 3 or 4! By that time, you got the audience hooked. Huge mistake on the writers part. That's why it only got two seasons. This one could've went the distance. Great characters all around. Sad,.... this had huge potential.
